The banter was always a nice break from the troubles of their work, and their work certainly came with its fair share of troubles. But Ianto wouldn't change it for anything. He really loved his work, and it had been the focus of his life for so long that it would be hard to imagine life without Torchwood. Thankfully, that didn't seem like it would be an issue any time soon.
"I suppose it would be difficult for you," Ianto said seriously, "but we can work on teaching you the alphabet." He rolled his eyes. "And here I thought that giving up sex was what you were just suggesting. Must have been mistaken." Today was definitely a day for sarcasm, and apparently for Ianto to be used as a footrest. He looked down at Jack's legs and raised an eyebrow, shaking his head.
"If egos worked like electricity," he said thoughtfully, "yours could keep a solar system going." His free hand dropped to his lap, his thumb stroking along Jack's ankle. "But yes, I'd still find you attractive."
