"Oh." She replied, trying to keep her face straight. Raptors? Cool, she can deal with it. Ghosts? No. Nope, sorry, not doing it. Danielle wasn't afraid of a lot of things, but ghosts was a silly, irrational fear. She'd rather face a dinosaur any day. His face was so straight set she was sure he was being entirely serious.
So when the response of telekinetic came out instead and the remaining matchstick was tugged from between her fingers and also disposed of, Danielle's face turned into an oh expression, clearly shocked. "My d- someone mentioned that, yeah." She replied, face turning to a frown after a moment.
He'd been right, then, and he had something different about him too. He'd never shared that. Was she angry? Jealous? That he could have shared this with them, if he had chosen to? Was this another reason why he'd run away back here?
"Oh I'm not worried." She said, shrugging it off. What if she could have had something useful? That would have protected her? It was clear from her expression that no, she wasn't worried, but she was likely mad.
Taking another drag off her cigarette, she exhaled slowly. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised. There's a damn raptor cage in the Zooquarium."
