Hey, uhm. Do you work here? The words almost flew past Danielle unnoticed. She had't worked here long enough to warrant a response to that answer - but seeing as just a second ago she had assumed no one else was around, after a brief moment of hesitation she turned to face the older man standing in front of her.
And - whoa, emotions. He looked... familiar, somehow. She couldn't put her finger on it, nor what exactly she was feeling. Something like a sinking feeling in her stomach, like she might choke on something stuck in her throat.
"Wha- oh me? Yes, I do." She replied, turning on her so-called 'customer service' face. She wasn't sure what she could possibly help this guy with, but if he had a question she would do her best. It wasn't as if she knew a lot about aquatic animals or anything else in this Zoo, though she was certainly attempting to learn about them now that she'd landed a job here.
"What can I help you with?" Her voice is... hesitant, expectant, maybe? There's something in it that's a little raw. Still, her face is all smiles as if she were being forced to answer a question she didn't want to in front of a lot of people. Like she was trying to save face. She had no idea why she felt so weird - but she'd chalk it up to nerves.
