Jake smirked faintly. "It usually is," he admitted. If the patches weren't so mobile, they could at least try to mark them or something so no one got caught by surprise, but they did what they could about it.
"See, that wouldn't be my concern," he replied. "Just somewhere where the gravity was consistent," he continued with a laugh. Though for all that - even if moving the entire quarry were feasible (which it ... well, wasn't ...) - the patches would probably go with it. "Figure I'll leave that to brighter minds than my own. People who get paid to worry about where things go in town."
