Her lips twisted slightly, one brow lifting as her shoulders shrugged. "Here I am," she replied. It'd be easy enough to go home, she thought. It had been long enough, she was sure she could work her way back onto the force there. Be back where she was supposed to be. Well, where she thought she was supposed to be. Maybe here was where she was supposed to be and part of her knew that, which was what was making the leaving so hard and the excuses not to so easy.
Maybe she'd take a week off. Go to Alaska on a cruise or something.
She glanced up as if she could somehow see the music, and both brows lifted briefly. "Finally," she echoed before she sighed and pushed up to her feet. Not that she was eager to get back to wandering around in this heat, but she was getting paid to do something other than sit on her ass. "Enjoy the show," she said as she lifted a hand in a wave. "And thanks," she added as she lifted the hand holding the lemonade to indicate for what before she turned her attention over the bleachers, and the field. It had filled up a little, and she could see a steady trickle coming in through the gates.
Yeah, time to get moving.
With a last nod to Gray, Misty started off the direction she'd been heading, eyes sweeping the area for anything amiss, untoward, out of place, or anything else along those lines.
