"Doesn't surprise me," she replied. "Surprised it even works every year," she admitted. Though it didn't seem in the spirit of festivities for the music not to come through. And fireworks without synched music were just colorbursts in the sky.
She glanced down at herself, then shook her head. "Nah. I like wearing uniforns with long pants on eighty plus degree days for fun," she replied before she grinned a little. Not a lot of people appreciated her language or her sense of humor. Most people didn't appreciate either while she was in uniform. But here it was.
"Checking the place for bombs, pranks, and aliens," she replied, her brows lifting. "Have yet to find any of the above. And they don't have the air on inside while school's out," she continued. "So that was fun."
She did recognize him, though she couldn't say she knew much about him. Just that she'd seen him around before. Still, it was something other than walking the bleachers while she did her job.
