He chuckled quietly at the teasing, but it wasn't anything he hadn't heard before. To the people just meeting him, he was a grumpy bear. He was quiet, sometimes had a temper, and looked like he'd just as soon growl as say hi. Some days, it was a legitimate assessment.
"Should," he replied. "I'd give it a little bit to dry off before sticking it back in though," he continued as he followed along after her. He did get a little nervous when she put a hand on her belly. One of his biggest concerns was that - somehow - he was going to be the only one on hand when she went into labor, and that he'd ... well, fail somehow.
"Yeah, no problem," he replied, watching her with something like concern. But if she wasn't worried, he wasn't going to fret about it. "I'll get out of your hair then, let you get on with your day," he added with a little smile to her. He had some windows to clean and rescreen, after all.
