"Pretty sure we'd be put out of business if we didn't," he replied as he opened his fridge to set a bottle of chilled water in front of her before he moved toward the second bedroom. It was something of a junk room, something of a work room, and something of an eventual project now that was doing things besides sitting and drinking.
When he came back, he had the blowtorch and the striker. "Sit tight," he said with a nod toward her. There was no need for her to be out in this heat after all. Not while she was like she was.
Heading back out, he moved across to her trailer once more, studying the ice. There was definitely evidence of some sort of internal leak and freeze, but it didn't take too long for him to at least thaw it out. He thought about going in and checking the filter, but that felt vaguely like trespassing and no matter his intentions, it was just creepy to wander into someone else's place without telling them.
Still, as the unit started to rumble as it kicked back on, he figured he'd mention it anyway.
Heading back to his place, he offered her a slight smile. "Your coils are freezing," he informed her, brows elevating as he set the torch and striker on the table.
