Jake snorted slightly, shaking his head. "Well, now that you've said that, we'll see if that shows up here. Way to give the town ideas," he joked. Pretty much joked. He knew some people thought the town was some sort of alive, but he didn't really buy that. Not completely. Though there were days he could make strong arguments for the walls having ears, such as it was.
He smirked faintly at the sentiment about freezing things. "Nah. I've got a pretty good handle on it. Not a lot of accidents these days," Jake quipped. Didn't mean never but ... not nearly as often as when he'd first discovered his quirk.
When he saw people heading back to the court, he lifted his brows slightly. "See you 'round," he offered as he pushed up off the bench to head toward the court and the game that would be starting up soon. It was probably going to wind up being his last one of the day but ... he'd see.
