Brother Bonding Who: Miah and Lonnie What: dinner, such as it is When: July 14th, just after sundown Where: Lonnie's house Status: Closed, ongoing
Miah's siblings had always taken good care of him as far as sharing their blood with him went. It helped to have a mother (and now a sibling too) who was a nurse. Everyone had become near-expert in using sterile needles and tubing to fill blood bags for Miah, and with five sibs, his parents and occasionally cousins and friends pitching in, nobody had to donate an excessive amount. Tonight was his brother Lonnie's night to feed him, and he knew his brother would have been home from work for long enough that he'd probably have the blood bag out on the counter to warm to room temperature, just how Miah preferred it.
He'd stopped by Bob's Burgers to get Lonnie's favorite burger and fries, something he always did because it seemed only fair. The smell of the food sometimes awakened a vague nostalgia in him for pre-vampire days when he'd loved french fries more than almost anything. Maybe he'd have some when he and Tris went shell-hunting out of town. He still couldn't quite believe that he'd forgotten all about the fact that his vampirism would go dormant if he wasn't in Stormvale. This town, man. It did crazy things.
He parked in Lonnie's driveway, got out and grabbed the bag of food to take in with him. "Knock knock, little bro," he called out as he rapped on the door.
