"I dunno. What incentives are you handing out? Do I have to physically sign or can I click a button? Things I gotta know before I commit," Jake laughed.
"You know there's a species of fish that is ... frozen? Like under the icebergs or something," he replied. "Saw it on the Nature channel or something," he continued. Well, maybe the fish weren't frozen but there was something about them that let them exist in water that should be frozen. Or something. It had been interesting but also a while ago.
"Pretty sure that's not the kind they have here though," he added as he took his half of the balls. "Depends on the type of game. Some of them ... I think freezing the water works counter to winning. Also cheating is wrong," he added with a laugh.
Moving a little ways down the table, Jake bounced one of his balls off the edge, missing the target entirely. "What we need is one of the aerokinetics," he joked. "Or the telekinetics." Which made him wonder if they cheated, and if it was just part of things.
