"Yeah, but that's hot right?" He asked before he laughed. "Literally and the other way," he added, amusement crinkling the corners of his eyes. But he didn't care much what other people thought - especially tourists.
And boy, were there tourists out in force. Which meant in the next few months they'd probably see a bunch of new faces around. He didn't get it, but it seemed that was how the town worked.
"Should I?" His brows lifted, but it wasn't like he minded. He did always worry a little about putting it on too thick and freezing someone's skin or giving them freezer burn or something. It was hard to know how other people handled things like that. He guessed it was easy enough to reabsorb it if he put on too much or for John to pull it off.
So he shrugged and gestured him to hold still as he carefully laced a thin layer of ice across John's neck and shoulders. "If it stings, I won't be offended if you pull it off," he offered. It would melt quick enough anyway, in this heat.
"You remember a few years back when it was like ... sixty and breezy out for the fair? Man, if we could have that again ..."
