"I bet you'd get all kinds of theories if you ever posted something like that," she agreed. Especially the older people, or the ones who'd been here forever. She was sure some of the town elders had stories they'd love to share.
"Opposite day. Sounds just like something this place would do." And it really did. And boy did she hope it never happened; she wasn't real sure how she'd feel about walking on the sky or something. "Sounds like a good idea," she agreed. Not that it mattered, really, but she was glad to see Maggie was at least amenable to the idea of packing it in and not ... well, wasting her day alone on the beach.
"I'll see you around," she said. "Probably at your next appointment." She genuinely wasn't sure if Maggie had one scheduled or not, but she figured she would sooner or later.
