Okay, so Jaime had a point. It was super gross out. And she wasn't really having fun. Not that she was going to admit that to anyone, even herself, probably. And it wasn't like she couldn't arbitrarily decide to do something else. Like get milkshakes. Or poll everyone she saw about weird ass weather happenings. Or both.
"I'll ask around," she ventured, "Maybe. I bet someone here has seen something bad ass happen, weather wise. Can lightning invert? I bet it could, here. Or like. A sideways cyclone. Some kind of Wizard of Oz shit or whatever." She assumed that's what happened, anyways - she hadn't actually read the book. "Or maybe there was a day where up was down and down was up. Now that would be batshit insane." She crossed her arms, pleased with having thought that up, and gave Jaime a smug look. "Anyways, I think it's time for a milkshake. If I'm not getting a proper beach day, I can at least have a triple chocolate milkshake or whatever, right? Right."
