Maggie was aware of how stone cold crazy her little set up probably looked but she didn't give even half a damn; she was having a good time and that was all that counted. It might have been more fun had she been able to convince someone - anyone - to join her, but here she was and she was going to have a good time, dammit. At Jaime's query, she glanced back at her umbrella-tent hybrid and flashed the other woman a grin. "Decided I needed a beach day," she replied proudly, "So mother nature be damned, I'm having one. Got me some drinks, music, magazines, everything you need for a beach day except, you know, sun."
Was she crazyflakes? Maybe a little. But really, Maggie was just used to getting her own way, even if she had to make it her own way. It made her inventive. And probably annoying, but she was going with inventive.
"Could you swim somewhere with him?" she asked after a moment, "Or would he give up part way or something?" She knew next to nothing about horses so it seemed like a reasonable question to her.
