Those numbers were constant reminders of how much she disliked who she was born to be. A reminder of a sin that will haunt her for the rest of her life. She stared at the numbers inbedded into her flesh. Each intitute she went too treated her like she was either a freak of nature or an animal.
Nicolina blinked when the view of hands moving to cover the numbers on her arm. Her eyes met his briefly, all she could see is an angel before her. All she seen were demons in her world, today a few angels walked in. At this point all she could do is nod her head to his words. His words echoed into her mind, reminding her that she is not a monster to him.
"I j-j-j-just want forget it all. Why do humans have to feel this much pain? I'm pathetic, it's driving me mad.," her words slurred out in between her sobbing. Her face resting against his warm chest. She nods her head for a response to his words. She was going to say something, suddenly a huge wave of peace hit her, she closed her eyes. Nicolina literally passed out against him. She fell asleep twice for Noah, but it took some herbal medicine to help her with sleeping, one time he sang her to sleep. A simple gesture of kindness and a warm hug knocked her right out.
