Nicolina knew her where her problems laid. Her words her words were sharp and jagged at times. A fault that David had trouble dealing with when she was in his life. She even made him cry one time, she realized her lack of social skills were on the down low. Her nose wrinkled, she felt bad for even opening her mouth, let alone giving responding in such a manner.
"F-f-f-forgive me. My words cut deep. I-I-I-I don't realize it when I speak, I couldn't be hurting someone's feelings. A complete stranger, such as yourself, kind enough to come talk to me -- fixed my wound," her words filled with remorse. "I was told this is why I'm distant to walk this earth alone. I'm too sharp and jaded. I-I-I-don't mean to be, it-it just happens to be a downfall of mine," she watched him move about, looking fo the First Aid Kit.
Nicolina slowly moved away from him, giving him his own space. She needed to realize that not everyone is going to enjoy her company. Not everyone is going take her kindly to how she spoke or presented herself. "F-f-f-forgive me..." her words very soft, her voice a bit cracked from stopping herself from getting over emotional. These are the reasons why she keeps to herself. She easily chases away people with her harsh conceptualization of reality. "Th-th-thank you. You are the third person to willingly want to touch me or be near me this close. I come with a bad reputation. My lack of human contact is minimal. I-I-I-envy those who get hugs or who can smile." Her mind went blank for a moment. When was the last time someone truly hugged her? He did, when she turned 23. Call it a birthday gift.
She tried to offer a smile, it was something she couldn't muster up right at the moment. "Thank you. I think I was named after my Grandmother. I d-d-don't really know. I'd like to believe I was, that someone took time to name me after someone important." she kept looking up at the ceiling as she spoke to him.
Her eyes drifted over to him as he spoke. "Honestly? I think the best people in the world, are the random ones. Because they are like clouds, drifting by, looking beautiful in their own ways. I had a random person walk into my world. H-h-he showed me what it was like to feel something. Then there is Noah. Another random cloud drifting into my sky." She finally smiled lightly. "Sometime's awful advice becomes the best advice in the world." She said, tilting her head forward, her hair falling a little over her face, for the first time she actually have off a genuine smile.
