Woody, of course, would never purposefully cause Andy any stress and certainly would not have anything to do with being responsible for any of his nightmares. Woody knew well enough the haunting feeling one gets from use of one’s ability and the nightmares one could get. When Woody did his work for the police, helping them track kidnappers and serial killers and the like, he saw, from the victim’s point of view, what happened. He felt what happened. There were nights he woke up in a cold sweat, after reliving his visions from the case where he led the police to that little boy’s grave.
Andy’s reply wasn’t really much of a surprise. “Well, just know it’s available, okay?” Woody wouldn’t push. As a matter of fact, it would probably be best to just leave Andy alone, as much as he possibly could. Maybe Good Morning and Goodnight were the only things he should say to the other boy, unless he started up a conversation. This might make Andy more at ease…that way he wouldn’t have to put forth any effort at all towards Woody.
