Woody still saw nothing but anxiety coming from Andy’s side of the room. He didn’t want the poor guy being anxious over him being his roommate, but he didn’t know quite what to do about it. Andy did seem to loosen up a little while he was singing and playing his guitar. Maybe that would be how they related. Sitting on his bed and leaning back against the wall, Woody picked up his guitar and started playing and singing,
“Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again Because a vision softly creeping Left it's seeds while I was sleeping And the vision that was planted in my brain Still remains within the sound of silence…”
As he sang, he looked at Andy and smiled softly. When he stopped singing, he held the guitar to his chest and asked, “Precognition, that must be a little upsetting sometimes, huh?” When he heard that Andy passed out, he was very concerned, “You pass out? Have you seen a doctor about that? A neurologist?” Woody wanted to crawl in bed with Andy and cuddle him close, but that was not going to happen. Maybe the guy would let Woody help him, after they had known each other for a while.
