She sank into the kiss like it was the only thing she needed in the world. A soft little sound escaped her, and she got a little closer. This was what she had been missing, this was what she had felt the loss of so sharply, even if it was a first.
She had fully expected more when the interruption happened. She felt jarred out of her happy place and it was hard for her to refocus. Even the world around them had accommodated, the lighting much lower than before, the sounds of the riot outside almost gone. The glare she gave the fallen tray was best reserved for hated enemies.
"Right..." She trailed off, but the dream was starting to unravel around them as she lost the thread of it. She started looking at him for a long time, like she was trying to work out if he was real or not. "Quinn?"
