She resisted for only a second before she made eye contact, and she gave the barest of smiles. The words tattooed on the inside of his wrist were clear since he had her face in his hands, and she absently brushed her thumb over her own. She ticked her gaze between his eyes and gave herself a long, long moment.
Then she slid her arms around his neck and gave him a tight hug. To her, this was all still real, her mind locked into the dream. She hadn't seen him in so long, she'd lost hope, and then he'd showed up to rescue her like some ridiculous knight in shining armor.
She gave the barest of laughs at the mental imagery, then she pulled back - and kissed him. In real life, they were always entangled in one way or another, but they didn't do that, but in her dream, that was the only thing she wanted to do. Nevermind the monsters out there, nevermind the prison break, he was there in front of her and she wanted him.
