Good evening.

We are at the point where I believe it would be beneficial for there to be a Town Hall where we can discuss matters that are important to us and our lives on this island. I am happy to run it but will accept help if anyone would like to do so. Off the top of my head, I'd like a volunteer who would be willing to take the minutes of the meeting.

Ideally, I would like for this to take place next week, as it will give me time to organize and prepare whatever notes we have.

With that being said, if you have any ideas or topics that you would like to see discussed, please use this entry.

I don't know. That would be useful information to have for the group.

This is all quite a lot. I wonder how much infrastructure our mysterious benefactor actually intends to provide.
And this is me saying it for the record: we do not have to stay here. If it becomes clear this won't be a safe and comfortable place for you, my offer to build your dream home on a nice slice of mainland still stands.

I don't know. On one hand, it feels a bit like looking a gift horse in the mouth. We've a home-- one we immediately fell in love with. They're perfectly helpful. And the magical variety aside, you have the power of common sense and considerable intelligence--two things I suspect will be vital in the days to come.

I think we've been given such a unique opportunity to have a different sort of lifestyle than what is available to us off island, and so I think we should discuss what we're going to do to preserve said lifestyle here. If I'm being honest, I would ~~hate~~ be very disappointed to see the history and character of this island be ruined by too much outside influence?

Perhaps we can also discuss organizing some committees, depending on who is interested in what? Like an Exploration Committee, as an example? If others are open to the idea? '

Mediation - How do we resolve disputes that are bound to happen?

Barret brings up a good point about people going missing but assuming that some times people just want a break from others, how long do we agree a person being missing means they are "missing" rather just getting some alone time?
