I was wondering if anyone would be interested to learn how to knit or crochet? And if there might be any interest in one over the other?

[Axel]
If I were to spin some yarn together would you be interested in selling yarn at the general store?

[Barty]
Weird thing just happened. My nameplate on the ranch ruins? It's gone.

I would like to learn.

[MARGOLISES]
Oh, really? I told you the island wouldn't make you live in a pile of rubble.

Maybe it wants you to stay at the tower with me!.

Which one do you want to learn first? Knitting is the one with two needles, crochet is the one with a single hook.

[MARGOLISES]
Has the island changed it's mind about these things before?

Maybe! Or maybe I should take a look around the new town? Are you at the tower right now?

Which one us harder?

[MARGOLISES]
I'm not sure? People have taken other people's houses before.

I'm at the shop right now, would you like company?

Complicated question. Knitting is more structured with rules you have to follow or else it's probably going to look bad. Crochet has rules too you can get away with bending the rules a bit more without it being too obvious.

However, knitting is like grounded onto your needles where as crochet is a little bit more free form creating your foundation chain sort of in the air which can be mind boggling to some people.

[MARGOLISES]
Oh, I didn't realize you could do that.

Want to meet at Toby's Inn and portal over to the other town? Doesn't have to be right now, I wanted to start making a trash pile of some of the rotted wood over here. What time are you closing today?

Which one do you like better?

[MARGOLISES]
Yeah, Sea Witch took the chicken leg house with Baba Yaga on it, but Baba Yaga isn't here, so.

Sounds good! I can just put up a "Be Back Soon" sign. Apparently the wisps will help run the shop anyway if I ask them to? I just thought they were hanging out to keep me company.

Do you want me to bring you a cappuccino or are you sick of cappuccinos?

I prefer knitting for hats, gloves, scarves and sweaters. And crochet for making stuffed animals and blankets.

[MAROLISES]
Give me a couple hours to finish up here and then bike back down.

I think I'm good for today. Though I am not completely sick of cappuccinos yet.

How hard are they to learn in general?

[Sheep Twin]
I would. What payment would you want for it?

I didn't think either was very hard to pick up. My grandmother started me on knitting first.

[Axel]
What types of payment are on offer?

Finger dexterity?

[Sheep Twin]
It's your yarn. I'll sell it for whatever you want me to. I'd prefer not to sell anything for cash after May, but that's your choice. Diana, who has a similar arrangement, asked me to drive hard bargains and she wants cash and favors for her products.

That's probably important. I guess if you have a hard time holding things steadily it might be hard?

[Axel]
Would promises of labor work? Like minimum payment is 1 hour of helping me out on the ranch?

For you, I'm interested. But literally the only thing I know about knitting and crocheting is what you just told Barty.
