how do you get a genie to come out of a lamp if they're shy

between the fog, the well, finding out about the 60s tales, and everything yesterday, i guess what i most want to know is how are all of you doing? how are you all holding up? we're all dealing with different levels of it, so idk! check in if you feel like it.

also: i'm going to, like, restrict my more think-tanky updates to the adventurer's guild filter, but that's just because i figure those are the people who wanna engage with the island's mysteries and are up for it, and not cuz i want to exclude anybody who wants to talk about it, so if you wanna see those, join the guild or just ask me to add you to the filter anyway. i don't mind.

congratulations to donny! who is now the guild's top hero. man, after yesterday, my only aspiration is to grow up to be half as cool as he is. like, the more i interact with him, the more impressed i am? he's so cool.

i feel like the dig was really successful. that scroll was a huge find, and so were the crowns and toby's axe handle, and i'm sure i'm missing some. thanks to everyone who helped us find stuff so that we could start piecing the mystery together more. if anyone has any deductions or theories, feel free to drop them, ellis offered to make us a conspiracy board.
