Who Sikota Buhari and Silas Copeland (and Travis answers the door)
What: A date!
When: Friday evening (backdated)
Where: Jakob's house and then a restaurant
Rating: PG-13? I don't know, we'll see.

Kota was almost always late to everything. Not because he didn't care about the things he was late to, but because he was so used to living a schedule-free life that he just didn't know how to handle his time. He wasn't used to getting up at a specific time, getting showered and dressed at a specific time, or leaving at a specific time. He just... did things when he felt like it. He'd managed to be on time to meet Elise that afternoon, though, and he was determined to be on time to pick Silas up. He didn't want to boy to think for even a second that he'd been stood up.

He came home from gardening with Elise and took another shower, even letting Grant blow-dry and style his hair. He got dressed in a pair of dark boot-cut jeans, a salmon-colored button-front shirt with the sleeves neatly rolled up to his elbows, and a slightly-loosened black tie. His eyes were kind of dry from his stupid decision to go out without his sunglasses earlier in the day, so he wore his black thick-framed glasses instead of his contacts. He stepped into a pair of old converse and finally was ready... over an hour early. He wasted time around the house, playing guitar and carving a few random things. Finally, it was half an hour before he needed to be at Jakob's house, and he left... even though it was only a fifteen minute ride at worst.

He rode his old Harley that he'd converted into a hybrid bike, and brought along the helmet he never wore for his human friend. He drove slowly, but was still a little under fifteen minutes early when he pulled into the driveway and cut his engine. He stalled for a moment, looking through his phone idly as he put the kick stand out and climbed off of the machine. Not wanting to be the creep hanging out in the driveway, he slid his phone into his back pocket and walked slowly up to the front door, biting onto his lower lip and knocking. He was nervous. He hadn't taken someone out on a date in... actually, he couldn't remember the last time he'd been on a date. He never stuck around long enough to bother dating people.

" They're very cute." He added once again about the glasses as he laced his fingers together with Kota's. " So where we going?" He wondered as they stepped out side, he only paused to shut the door behind them. There was no need to lock it there was still others in the house, at least he was pretty sure and it wasn't like anyone would attempt to rob a vampire, unless they were really stupid.

" So this is the famous bike." He chirped, Kota offered him a ride a few times after he spent the day but they always ended up walking or Silas had to go to school which was just a short walk so he didn't bother taking up the offer. " I've never been on one before." He glanced at his date.

Kota grinned a bit and shook his head. "You'll see when we get there," he said simply. He liked surprising people, even in little ways. "The famous bike," he laughed lightly. "My baby." He loved his bike. After all... they had been together for forty years now and he'd had to rebuild the engine a few times. "It's a hybrid, you know? Gets obscene gas mileage. I love it," he chuckled, picking up the helmet and handing it to the boy. "I know, I know, it'll mess up your hair, but you're kind of fragile, so... put it on," he insisted as he pushed the kickstand up with his foot and climbed on. "It's not a big deal. Just climb on behind me and hold on," he smiled up at the boy.

Silas enjoyed surprise, well he normally did unless it was of the SURPRISE YOUR DINNER sort. Oddly enough when Kota said it was a surprise that didn't even cross his mind, he was actually starting to trust the vampire, at least enough to stop thinking so negatively about him because of what he was.
He frowned he hadn't even thought about it until Kota mentioned his hair. " Fineee." He sighed when his date urged him to put it on. He did as he was told before he climbed on the back of the bike and wrapped his arms around Kota. If Kota was human he would probably have trouble breathing at the moment at how tight his grip was on his poor date.

Kota placed a hand on top of Silas' and smiled, picking it up to press a light kiss to it. "Don't worry so much. You're safe with me. Promise," he assured the boy as he started the engine and slowly pulled out of the driveway. He gave Silas' hand a gentle squeeze before he put it back up on the handle... he did need both hands to drive, after all. He started towards town, making sure he wasn't driving too fast or recklessly, because not only did he have someone much more fragile than himself on the bike, but the boy was kind of scared, he could tell.

Within a few minutes they were pulling up to a small brick building, a cute little Italian restaurant Roman had told him about. "This place is supposed to be really good," he said as he pulled into a parking spot and cut the engine, waiting for Silas to get off before he did. He put up the kickstand and grinned at the younger boy, pulling the helmet off of him and hanging it on one of the handles. "Wasn't it fun?" he asked softly, idly fixing the human's hair where it had been pressed flat.

He loosened up his bear hug of doom when Kota told him not to worry so much and told him he'd be safe because he really did believe Kota when he said things like that now. However he wasn't as relaxed as he could be, it was his first time on a motorcycle after all so he was a little bit nervous. By the time they reached the hotel he was starting to come around, starting to enjoy the ride but he was also happy to be getting off.

" I heard of this place." He replied with a smile, he never been though. He didn't go to too many places if he was being honest with himself but that was quickly changing, he'd been out everyday this week practically between school and hanging out with Kota.

" Yeah it was." He nodded his head, he did enjoy it by the end. He could get use to the bike he was sure of it, just like he was getting use to the fact that Kota was a vampire. He messed with his hair a little as an automatic reflex after his date pulled off the helmet and gave him a hand with his hair.

Kota chuckled softly as Silas messed with his hair, leaning in to press a light, brief kiss to his lips. "It looks fine," he assured the boy, pulling his hand down from his hair and lacing their fingers. "You ready to go in? Roman says this is the best restaurant in town, so I'm excited. I don't even remember the last time I ate Italian," he rambled softly. He didn't eat human food very often, even though he enjoyed it. He would take bites of Grant's food here and there, but he thought it was just really wasteful for him to eat. He would only do it on special occasions.. like tonight.

It was almost too brief for Silas' liking because he enjoyed the kisses so much he never wanted them to end but it did. He safely assumed he'd get a few more kisses so he wasn't too bummed out about it. As Kota pulled away he offered him a smile. "Yep, I am." He nodded his head. " I'm sure it'll be great." He wasn't exactly picky when it calm to food and he was already impressed with his date where they went to eat was just a minor detail. " I love Italian." His stomach grumbled as if on cue. " I hope you enjoy it too.. are you sure you want to eat..we can do something else that we'll both enjoy." He offered.

Kota just grinned at the boy, shaking his head. "You. Hush," he chuckled, kissing his cheek as they walked inside. "I enjoy eating. I just don't do it that much because it's really wasteful. But I like it. Love it, actually. I love food," he assured him. "Hey, I made a reservation," he smiled happily at the hostess once they were inside. He gave her his last name and she lead them back into the restaurant, to a nice little secluded table next to a window. "This is perfect, thanks," he chirped as she left, taking a seat and straightening his clothes a bit. "I don't even need to look at the menu. I want wine and manicotti," he chuckled softly, looking over at his date.

His stomach filled with butterflies every single time he felt the other boys lips pressed against any part of him; his hand, cheek, lips. It didn't matter where the kiss was placed it was always so sweet and gentle, it made Silas melt. " Good I love food too." He chirped. He took a seat a well. " Wow this place is really nice." He glanced around the restaurant briefly before offering Kota a smile. " This is perfect." He added. He let out a bit of a chuckle when his date skipped the menu. " Have you been here before or is that your first choice where ever you go?" Silas on the other hand opened the menu, he normally took lasagna it was his favorite but manicotti sounded really good as well. " I think I know too." He ran his finger down the menu.

Kota loved kissing Silas. It had been a long time since he'd done anything like this... normally his relationships started with what should have been a one-night fling. Silas was different, though. He wanted to take things as slowly as he could endure, savoring every second.

He grinned and looked around. "It is. I'm glad Ro told me about this place," he murmured, combing his fingers through his hair and shrugging his shoulder. "No, never been here before, but all Italian places have basically the same things... and I really like manicotti and red wine," he chuckled. "What are you getting?"

" You'll have to tha..nk him for suggesting it." The words were difficult to get out of his mouth, he assumed this Roman character was his sire and therefore a vampire and Silas refused to be thankful to a vampire ever again. " I hope it's good, I'm sure it will be." He quickly added with a smile. " It smells good anyway.... I think I'm going to have the ..." He was going to try something different but lasagna had his heart and at the last minute he changed back to lasagna. " I'm going to get the lasagna." He decided as he closed the menu. " And water." He side the menu to the edge of the table so the waitress would know that he made his decision.

Kota nodded a bit, smile widening. "I will," he sighed. He had a very special relationship with his sire... one that couldn't really be summed up in words. "It smells really good," he breathed, mouth practically watering. His heightened senses made sitting in a restaurant an almost overwhelming thing... but he'd gotten used to it over the years. "Lasagna is really good, too. I might have to steal a bite," he smiled fondly over at the boy, sitting his previously untouched menu on top of the human's at the edge of the table. The waiter came over and took their orders, and Kota just couldn't stop staring at his date. "You are just so cute. Even the way you talk is cute," he gushed.

"Maybe I'll share.. but it's going to cost you big time." He thanked the waiter after he took their orders before turning his attention back to Kota. " Thank you." He of course blushed once again. " What do you mean the way I talk is cute?" He tilted his head to the side. " I don't talk any different than you do." He added. He folded the corner of his napkin over a few times and then unfolded it restlessly, he wasn't too sure how the whole going on a date thing went. The last time he went on a date he was like fourteen and it wasn't the same thing as going on an 'adult' date.
