Kota could hear Silas freaking out upstairs, and it made him smile fondly. God, he was so cute. And he was sure he looked amazing, no matter what he was wearing. Travis was right.
He chuckled when the stranger came back downstairs and shook his head. "No, I'm fine, thanks," he said softly, and then turned to look up the stairs, in the direction of Silas' room. "Don't rush, I'm early. It's fine," he called out, combing his fingers as he looked back at the human standing in front of him. "I'm Kota," he offered warmly, extending his hand for the boy to shake.
