"I have an extra stomach for chocolate and sweets." Melody said with a small grin because seriously, there was never a time when she couldn't eat that stuff. "I ate a whole chocolate pie with Lukas once. Though after that I couldn't see chocolate for a while. Two days or so." she laughed quietly. It was nice to talk about girly things like that and she was sure that every guy, except for Luks, she told that would've laughed at her or stared. "Avery's a vampire and my best friend. She's a photographer, too. And one of the sweetest girls I've ever met. She's great, really." She laughed again, rubbing the back of her head sheepishly. "I do sound like I wanna advertise her or something.." she muttered.
"He is a great guy! He's compassionate and kind, even though he can be a little..uh..outragious when he's drunk. But he's still a sweet guy with a big heart." She agreed completely with Yazmine on that. She hadn't seen Mika all that often, but he had offered to help her and her parents immediately after their house had burned down. And that was what had convinced her, despite his drunk ravings and craziness that he was a good person. "Well, we have to show him then! And I know he'll be a great father! I bet he'll spoil the kids rotten." she chuckled, but she glanced down, her hand over her own stomach, reaching for another piece of chocolate with her free hand, trying not to think about Judah and what a great dad he would have been.
"That's so sweet of you to say. Just that alone makes it a little easier, you know? Knowing that there are people who care enough to offer." She finally looked at Yazzy again, having herself and her expression back under control.
