Who: Haven, Avery, Melody, Adele?, Patch, Camilla, Carter, Dulcie, Jax?, Delia? and anyone else interested!
When: May 30th. 5pm.
Where: Lower level of Haven.
What: The first meeting of those who wish to bring pieace between vampires and humans.
Rating: PG for possible language?
Avery had been a fantastic help, coming early and helping him set up. Together they had turned the lower level of Haven into a meeting room of sorts, with a big table set up as a square (really a few tables pushed together) and chairs all around.
There was another table set up on the side which had coffee and tea set up, and juice as well, and also some sandwiches and cookies and other snacky things - because sometimes food and drink made things easier.
It was a mismashed group of people who had come, but Haven was pleased by the turn out. Even if it had just started with one or two, that would have been okay with him. Things that were worth doing took time and effort. And this was worth doing.
He sat at the table, hands around a cup of coffee. "I am sure everyone has something to say. And everyone should feel free to talk. Just remember to keep an open mind, and not to lash out. People can disagree but try not to do it in a hurtful way?" he suggested with a boyish sort of smile. "So. Questions? Things one side wants to understand about the other? Things people want others to know?"
