hello hello! meet vada (27) of the dermont family and agatha futures & fortunes and granddaughter of the infamous agatha. while her mother ran away from home as a teenager and spent over a decade traveling the world, she returned to peculiar when vada was a baby and she's been living in devil hills ever since. from the time she was a child, she had a reputation for being intense and rebellious and that hasn't changed much even as an adult. she has a mysterious edge about her and just enough charm to get away with not revealing much about herself. she inherited psychic abilities from the dermont line and has worked as a psychic at her family's shop for almost a decade (as well as moonlighting as a bartender). and if you're interested in more information about her, you can check out her bio here.
as for lines, i would love everything and if anything i've listed doesn't work for you, i'm always up for working together to brainstorm something fun and dramatic.
possible ideas: a childhood best friend from growing up in devil hills, someone whose life she saved using her psychic abilities and then had a relationship with that burned hot and fast, a fling she ghosted when they both caught feelings, her archnemesis (bonus points if they've hated each other since they were kids over something really stupid and inconsequential), a group of friends that had a supernatural experience (accidentally summoning a demon, a weekend trip in a haunted cabin, etc.) in high school that bonded them for life, neighbors in devil hills, a bar for her to work at some nights.

hello all! this here is harley adie-dermont, cousin to veda (~forseen) here with a tale of the duality of woman: consider harley your local knife-wielding card shark! insert bio here. she's currently a diener at peculiar morgue and a tarot card reader at agatha's futures and fortunes which is presently in the hands of her capable potion-making mother. harley has been surrounded by death for most, if not all of her life and believes she's cursed for the most part by the dreaded dermont affliction and uses tarot as guidance for her impulsive, psychic self. she often experiences nightmares and hears voices from the dead, as well as premonitions of imminent pain from touch. all this to say she befriends animals over humans, tends to keep guarded, is almost always dead pan and may have spent a year in vegas abusing her sleight of hand.
and now to the best part • calling any death-adjacent characters who she may be involved with professionally or something more sinister or messy • persons new to the town who she accidentally meeped their ill-fated prediction to before her road runner number to the nearest bar to forget her burdens • shocking dates that didn't progress after the third due to her inability to hold hands or participate in pda that was read as a misguided aversion and red flag (she's no prude, just saving you all the trouble!) • anyone's cards she may've read for better or worse • whoever decided to ditch responsibility and pretended to be married to her in vegas • the person she has a deep connection with and neither party has acted upon it for various reasons
literally anything you can think of and in any combination, she's not one to avoid sticky situations of any sort!
