Dear Parents,
As another school year approaches I wanted to address the news surfacing across the nation that muggles are developing latent magical abilities. While there are many sensational articles out in the muggle media right now, I must stress the fact that the governmental committee assigned to investigate these claims has not found any conclusive evidence to confirm these claims. While Pacific Coast Academy will continue to offer its volunteer weekends in wizarding and muggle communities alike, a heavier emphasis upon secrecy while among muggles will be enforced this year. I look forward to seeing new and familiar faces when Pacific Coast Academy opens it doors again and wish you the best in your final weeks of summer vacation.

QUODPOT
Coming back from the Circle of Four championship with second place, Stark's quodpot team said goodbye to several of their star players last year. Many congratulations go out to all four of the school's quodpot teams for last year's excellent season. Try-outs for the 2009-10 season will be held the week of September 20.
