Diagon Alley – May 2003 The Battle of Hogwarts was a trying time for all of the Wizarding World, but the forces of good triumphed in the end. The Miniser of Magic Kingsley Shacklebolt invites you to join a celebration of that victory in Rosebud Park. Live music, good food and fireworks! (Fireworks provided by Weasley Wizard Wheezes--please use caution.) However, all is not safe as the leader of the band of thieves that has been terrorizing Diagon Alley for much of the month of April makes his final, desperate move after his associates have all been imprisoned. Will everyone make it out alive? Join today to find out! |
Game Background It's 2003 and the Wizarding World has come a long way since the Final Battle. Death Eaters have been tried and dealt with fairly under the watchful eye of the new Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt and a reformed Wizengamot. Diagon Alley and Hogwarts have been rebuilt. Slowly the magical community has rebuilt and healed from the destruction of Voldemort's reign. Most characters make their home within Diagon Alley as new flats and residences have opened their doors. |
Our Game & Players Charing Cross is a unique game where each month a new plot is presented for the characters. Much like real life the characters must react to current events as well as manage their personal relationships. Our hope is that through these small, short-lived plots players will take the opportunity to develop their characters and relationships with other players. We also encourage small group plots, such as book clubs, bowling leagues and writer's circles among many others. |
Future Plot Don't worry -- when the current plot ends the game won't stop! The mods are busy developing the next bit of action and whatever it is -- We promise it will be EPIC! Previous plots have included gender swaps, masquerade balls and karaoke nights. We encourage player input into what they'd like to see next, and there's even a portion of the application where prospective players can have their say. |
