Nuclear war has destroyed the planet for the most part. There are a few surviving settlements in the world; the largest one is in a small town called Lunar Haven which is located in Alaska. One of the reasons the town is still so prosperous and large is because it is run by a coven of witches and a pack of werewolves. The world outside their borders is full of danger and banding together is the best way for them to survive.

It's been five years since the apocalypse and with the exception of one big change the town is pretty much the same. The Alpha of the Oak Willow Pack manged to find The Lost Ones; they are a small pack of teenage werewolves that had been surviving in caves about 20 miles outside of the town. She brought them back to the town and gave them a small piece of land on her family's plot. The witch coven approved it due to the High Priestess' soft spot for children.

To keep the town prosperous the High Priestess of the Talon coven has brokered a trading deal with another coven located in what used to be Portland Oregon. So, once a month a small team takes a boat along the coast. The town of Lunar Haven provides fur blankets, meat and fresh spring water and in return they receive handcrafted knives and other metal weapons, Spirits and Arrows for their Bows.
