Doors: Seeking Heroes
A hero is no braver than an ordinary man.

Las Vegas. America’s Sin City, where decadence is on the menu at every meal, and where every vice can be had for a price. It’s no surprise, then, that when the doors to fiction opened, they chose to do so in this place, where the fairytale lights obscure a world gone dark with desire. Here, the heroes of fiction face the challenge of their own demons. Superman patrols the skies of Metropolis. Jon Snow stands firm at the head of the Night’s Watch. Sherlock Holmes picks through London for sordid clues. Sirius Black faces the wizarding world he left behind in death. Captain America prepares for the war that is always coming.

The heroes of fiction await in the Passages Hotel. They’re contained for now to the minds of their hosts, to the doors they inhabit, the worlds they dream of making better places. But what will happen when that all changes?

Tutis Tempus Premise

Our only future may lie in a past that is not even ours.

October of 2001. A 9.9 Earthquake leads to a global nuclear winter. An accident with the Dark Veil and a Time Turner creates a portal to New Zealand five million years in the past on an alternate time line.

December 2001, the Dark Veil began pulling people from other points in time, as far back as 331 BC, randomly, and depositing them five million years in the alternate universe past.

September 2002, tectonic plates shifted to collide Zealandia with Australia! *We have monthly mini-plots voted on by all players.*

A MULTI-FANDOM GAME
The HMS Surprise is a multi-fandom game set on a spaceship that is drifting through the multiverse rescuing characters from destruction as it sees fit. Characters will be accommodated with a suite and access to almost every part of the ship, but here's the catch - it's up to them to keep the ship running. Along the way, the refugees may encounter aliens, monsters, alien-monsters and other disasters that come from drifting through time and space without a map or plan of action.

A niche of normalcy.

The year is 1977. Voldemort has been gaining power and followers, but for the most part Hogwarts has continued to remain sheltered. There have of course been questions of disappearances and disturbances in both the muggle and wizarding world, and Voldemort has begun recruiting students from more influential families. There is no indication yet of exactly what scale all of this will eventually amount to, but things have begun to take shape, no matter how normal the Hogwarts staff tries to keep life at school.

Next to Normal is a mostly social game that explores the marauder era students as the world around them begins to get darker with the rising in power of Lord Voldemort.

This is Hogwarts, welcome home.

The year is 1904. The Ministry has proposed that Muggle steam engines take the place of travel by flying coach. There are rumors of a Spring-heeled Jack in Hogsmeade, wielding foreign magic. Muggleborns are enrolling in NEWT classes on scholarship, without the benefit of a magical primary education. A centaur has attempted to assassinate the Minister for Magic for crimes against magical beings. The banking crisis continues, with goblins in sole control of Gringotts. The Hogwarts Michaelmas Hunt approaches, and there may be more dangers than gytrashes in the Forbidden Forest...

The Hogwarts staff needs your help to face the changing world of the 20th century, and to pave the way for the generations to come.
