Before there was a town in the middle of a field, there was a kobold who was homeless after it abandoned its brugh. It no longer wanted to live in the cold, damp barrow hill, having had a taste of human life and now desired nothing more than to live among them in the dry earth under the sun. But powerless on its own, it sought the help of a few faerie friends who agreed to its conditions. Through them, it found an aging village in-between a beach and a forest where once a brugh had been. With its magic, it lured humans from all ends of the old faerie roads to come and start their new lives there. The village was revived and the kobold was happy.

Two centuries later, the village has prospered. Carts and horses have been replaced by cars, shops have moved from simple houses to concrete buildings and hospitals and colleges have risen in the place of clinics and schoolhouses. What used to be a quaint rural settlement has now exploded into a thriving urban town with a rising economy and a growing territory. It was a sight that pleased the faeries who have thought it time to come redeem their payment for assisting the kobold. But the kobold was not ready to let go of the town which the faeries would doubtless just turn back to rubble. With both sides unwilling to meet halfway, it’s no wonder they’ve started to fight over it. And who better to use for their interests than the townspeople themselves? So welcome to the war between the kobold and the faeries. Welcome to a town called

Master or Slave?

Supernatural or Human?



The creatures of the Earth have always been separated into two distinct categories, the Supernatural, and humans, otherwise known as the Children of Eden. Supernaturals are comprised of the superior races; werewolves, vampires, and witches. Humans are considered weak. This, of course, meant that they needed to be protected from themselves, and the best way to protect them, was to enslave them. After all, a human couldn’t eat the apple of sin, if their hands were bound.

This is the story of Crescent Hills, a town tucked away in the Rocky Mountains, where the Supernatural rule without fear, and their human slaves obey them without question. But times are changing. The rift between the Supernaturals is growing. Werewolves and witches consider vampires to be abominations. Werewolves and vampires think witches are too human. Vampires and witches think werewolves have no control. Human slaves are witness to it all, and some have decided to use it to their advantage. It has always felt like the Supernatural races and the human race are at war, or at least that the humans have been rebelling against them. The three power houses of the Supernatural have kept them at bay until now, and they believe they are winning the war against the humans.

In another part of the Mountains, camps of renegade humans have developed, making it their goal to disrupt Supernatural society in any way possible. Over the last year, attacks on outlying estates, slave “rescues”, and theft of supplies have skyrocketed. Several camps have been raided, and the humans sold into servitude. Little do the owners know, these slaves aren’t just content to serve. Now they are working from the inside, trying to bring down the great Houses of the Supernaturals. Some ‘born’ slaves have been convinced to turn against their Masters, while others remain loyal. A storm is brewing, and only time will tell which side will be victorious.

Will you give orders or will you submit? Apply as master or slave and enter the world of supernaturals and humans. Original characters are welcome and encouraged. The game starts September 29th. There are no holds on played bys, so get in those applications!

an original mutant rpg

For decades, the government tortured mutants. They experimented on them, they killed them and dissected them. They kept them chained in Willowbrook State School, or "Willowbrook Asylum" as it was more accurately called by inhabitants of Staten Island. Yes - what all the residents of New York City thought was a well-meaning school for mentally handicapped children was really a house of torture. That was until 26 years ago when the mutants rebelled and took over Willowbrook. Some mutants chose to stay and form the Centurions, a group dedicated to training mutants and remaining hidden away from humans - and to just live their lives. Others, however, left and formed the Syndicate, deciding that they could never forgive humans and instead wanted to take control of them - to take over the world.

They were not the only mutants, however, and so both sides sought to find others like them. Willowbrook finally became a true school after all, tutoring mutant students as future Centurions. For over 25 years now, they have been successful, but trouble is brewing. The Syndicate had also been recruiting, straight out of Willowbrook and under the Centurions' noses. They're closer than ever to being finally ready to take over the world.
