IWhen the world went to hell, no one was ready for it. But a small island in the middle of lake Huron became a safe haven for those who craved a semblance of normalcy. Soon that changed, years of peaceful living and surviving disappeared, only civil war was left. Civilization versus Savages. Those who revered back to their animal nature and those who clung to the was the world used to be. The island was split into two compounds, but that didn't stop the fight. Nor did it offer protection from the danger that was growing in the unoccupied spaces of the island.
