The year is 1996 and there have been changes at Hogwarts. Professor Severus Snape has taken over as the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, the position he’s coveted. Horace Slughorn, an old friend of Albus Dumbledore, has taken over as the Potions professor and is become very important to the Headmaster and his mission.

As there are changes, there are some things that always stay the same. There are Quidditch victories to be won, teenage romances to be had and exams to be taken. The world is changing, teenage priorities are not.

[info]mandrake is a canon based game set in the trio's sixth year. We will be exploring both social aspects and the political aspects of the students' lives at Hogwarts.

An alternate universe. Jean Grey and Charles Xavier perished at Alkali Lake. Scott Summers has left the Institute and it is unknown if he will return. Ororo Munroe is tasked with returning the Institute to what it once was.

Focusing on the school. The students and staff have shut out what they can in order to focus on their own thoughts and feelings. We are focused on them as they try to cope with the changes.

Story is what matters here. Character drama is fun and we're looking for fun. Let's all have a great time and not worry too much about the details.

Accio Goblet! is a canon-compliant game that describes the events of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, from the Quidditch World Cup to the end of the school year. Our goal is to explore the events of the year Voldemort returned, through the eyes of those students who were older than the trio.
