Salazar Slytherin wasn't the only person to leave his secrets embedded in the very structure of Hogwarts itself.

But he was one of the most determined. And after another of his dangerous secrets was used against muggleborn with devastating effect, public opinion turned against Slytherin -- not just the man, but the Hogwarts house.

Three years and a lot of negotiating later, the four new houses of Hogwarts are about to be introduced for the optional summer term of 2021. But Hogwarts isn't just a mundane building that doesn't care what happens within it. And Salazar Slytherin wasn't the only person to leave his secrets embedded in the very structure of Hogwarts itself.

From the quarrels of the Founders to the enhancements of the Victorian Age to the magic added after the most recent Battle of Hogwarts, Hogwarts embodies the magic of the ages, secret lore and forgotten history. And what the reformers didn't realize in their zeal is that a great deal of that magic ties into the four traditional Hogwarts houses.

And what happens to Hogwarts when those four houses are replaced?

A NEW GENERATION of heroes is trained under the veterans of old - young men and women learning from their heroes how to be the best super powered individuals they can become, at Byrne Academy. This new facility, hastily thrown together due to a rash of powered adolescents springing up across the world, is absolutely one of a kind. Located in the heart of the Mojave Desert, students come to gather in a location where they can do no damage to the outside world - either to learn how to join the powered world, or how to manage their powers and live a regular life.

THE VETERANS' GUIDING HANDS are not enough, however: a new brand of unsavory vigilante is coming forth; individuals less concerned with morals and doing good and more with getting their man any way possible. The old guard of the heroic world try their best to mold these people, even inviting the presence of post-secondary age students to join them for internships and one-on-one tutoring that extends beyond that offered to the high-school age children in the facility. But it may already be too late to help those who have written their own lateral moral code.

WATCHING FROM THE SHADOWS are the infamous group, the Chaos Syndicate, who have their fingers in everything - including the operation of the school. Covert members of the organization have joined the school, both as teachers and students, and are waiting for the opportune moment to recruit and pull the facility apart at the seams, thereby damaging international security and the strength of governments the world over. The Chaos Syndicate will strike - it's only a matter of time.

The word Idolum means a mental image, a false idea, a fallacy.

As we all pass through the ins and outs of our everyday lives, we have a mental image before us that we perceive as our reality. However, as the citizens of New York are slowly coming to realize, not everything, or everyone is as they appear in this false perception.

A brand new supernatural based city game, Idolum is calling for humans, witches and vampires to come join us in the bustling the cultural hub of New York City. Since the game is only now opening to the public, many playbys are available! We encourage original characters of all types to join us as the veil falls and the grim truth comes out to play.

Would anyone be up for a line against Ruby? I just found a fantastic Dean but would welcome more lines. I'm up for all sorts of ideas, adult and otherwise, and love brainstorming.

Though Ruby is the character I'm most looking to play at the moment, I'm more than happy to play other characters, male and female, from Supernatural. Het and threading only please.
