MAGIC SCHOOL . A CHARMED/HARRY POTTER CROSS-OVER
What if Salem Witches' Institute is the very same Magic School the Halliwells protect? Perhaps centuries ago the Ministry of Magic orchestrated a separation of Church and State that excluded the Elders and WhiteLighters from interfering with European witchcraft. But their reach didn't extend to the American colonies where magic was stifled and only encouraged by WhiteLighters. Now it's nearly 25 years after the battles against Voldemort and the Ultimate Power. Both Hogwarts and Salem Institute are open again. But when the peace of both sides is threatened, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause.

In 1954 when Grindlewald was at the height of his reign over Europe a hero descended on him with a group of like minded individuals and ended the sweep of terror that was plaguing the Wizarding World. That great Hero was Tom M. Riddle. You might have heard the story as it being Albus Dumbledore but this is a different tale. It changed so many things and now with Minister Riddle heading the British Ministry the Wizarding World is a far different place. Albus Dumbledore never received the prestige and honor of downing such a threat. He never even became headmaster of Hogwarts, no chocolate frog card; he is merely a bright wizard that never reached his full potential.

There is no such thing as interaction with the Muggle World. The first task of the Department of Mysteries was to device a way to pinpoint muggles carrying magical children. When that was accomplished all expecting mothers of magical children were taken to the Wizarding World. The woman is paired to a fostering magical family expecting a child around the same time. When the children are born they are called Magical Twins. The muggle woman is obliviated and deposited back in her world with no idea where her child has gone or that she was even carrying one. These twins are treated no different from any blood related children of their parents. It is a gift to raise a child in such a way giving them a better life then they could have had otherwise. Blood classification has been abolished. A magical child is only that, a magical child.

The Premise


Werewolf attacks have become the stuff of everyday life for much of Wizarding Britain, an ancient spell cast by Slytherin himself is bringing the dead back to life, and a certain Dark Lord seems intent on conquering the world again... Harry Potter, the Head of the Aurors, has his Department fighting back with around the clock patrols and Hit Wizards are busier than ever before, but even with extra security, is the world safe?

How long will the tension build? How much can those who saved the world take? How far can the wizarding world be pushed before it reaches its breaking point?

In 1967, Tom Riddle was elected Minister for Magic and the Golden Age began. Thirteen years later, Riddle and the network of Ministry representatives who serve him as Death Eaters are ready to make their move. Project Utopia has been in the works for years. An experimental program designed to strip muggleborns of their magic, Project Utopia has been testing on the muggleborns the Death Eaters have been kidnapping for months. Lily Potter. Ted Tonks. Alastor Gumboil. Mary Truman. Gilbert Vance. Hestia Jones. The project has not yet seen a success, but with over half the Wizengamot under their thumb, the Death Eaters see precious little reason to worry. The wizarding world is in the palms of their hands.

Unbeknownst to them, the Order of the Phoenix trains under Albus Dumbledore, Alastor Moody, and the Longbottoms. Meeting weekly, the group — formed in September and composed of everything from pet shop workers to Unspeakables to artefact hunters — has been training in secret, rushing against the clock to prepare for war.

Combatting the most powerful Dark wizard of the 20th century is difficult enough. Taking Him down when he has the power of the state twirled around his little finger seems impossible. When the wands are out, who will you have up against the wall?
