Established 50 years ago, this research station on the peninsula of British Antarctic Territory began studying the anomaly called in scientific circles as the Umberkant. No one knows how long it has happened but through the Umberkant people have been deposited on the ice, naked and without DNA. They are fictional creations of novelists and screenwriters in the flesh in the waking world. No one knows how this takes place which is the reason you are needed here in the Lancaster Antarctic Compound. We are working to research all possible causes of this strange event, from the physical to the emotional and mental to the possible paranormal and beyond.
