Welcome to Harmony. It’s a lovely place, clear blue skies and attractive buildings. It’s funny, but even though all you can remember is this place, it feels like you’ve never been here before.

Why does it feel that way? Well, probably because it’s true. Sssh, don’t tell; this is a giant experiment, one you can’t get out of. We care about you here in Harmony, and you’re very important to us. We hand picked you from your world, because there was just something about you. We know you will be helpful.

It’s important that you feel at home. Almost like you’re not in an experiment at all. So we’re going to give you a new set of family, friends, and memories. Because, don’t forget – we care about you. We want you to feel at home, seeing as from now on, this is your home.
So here’s the gist – your character was plucked from their world, and brought to this one. It’s unclear if it’s an alternate dimension or even a different planet. The place has similar atmosphere and appearances as Earth, but how would you ever know if it was or not? From there, something happened to their memory. It’s not clear how that happened, either. All you know is there is a little scar, on your neck, right below your hairline. Maybe you had it before. Or maybe, it has nothing to do with your memory. You have no idea.

After you were brought here, and your memory erased, a new one was implanted. Some got a new brother or sister, some got new friends, and some even got new spouses or fiancés. It’s weird, really. You feel like you know them so well, and at the same time, like you don’t know them at all. You have a job, and a place to live. You have a memory of going to school at Harmony High, and parents that have died peacefully. You remember every aspect of this place, because after all, you’ve lived here since you were born.

In addition to all that, from time to time, you’ll get a call from the Doctor’s office. You’ll come in, they’ll give you a supposedly harmless shot, and you’ll be on your way. Strange thing is you’ll start to feel really different after you get that shot.

City Of Hills is an aim and thread friendly play by (PB)/city based community set in San Francisco, California. Writers of this community are promised creative control over their story lines. As long as things are kept realistic, there should not be an issue at all. We are a game that encourages diversity among characters and accept all types of play bys. This is a pretty basic city-wide game, although we do focus our residential selections around fourteen neighborhoods. This game also accepts characters of all ages.

The year is 1999 - nine years since the End Times, aka the Apocalypse, aka Armageddon, aka the Day of Final Judgment decided to take a rain check. Life, as it has a way of doing, continued on without a hitch. The Four Apocalyptic Horsepersons parted ways. Them returned to their respective houses in Lower Tadfield. The other miscellaneous supernatural beings, upstairs and downstairs, dealt with mountains of paperwork. The file was put away and that was that. They preferred to pretend it didn't happen. That's bureaucracy for you.

On Sunday, the day after the world nearly ended but didn't, a package was personally delivered to Jasmine Cottage. In it contained the yellowed manuscript of the Further Nife and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter: Concerning the Worlde that Is To Com; Ye Sage Acontinuef! For nine-going-on-ten years, the new book of prophecy has remained in a dusty shoebox underneath the floorboards.

It's the dawn of the third millennium. Y2K is stirring up a craze. The States is about to give up the Panama Canal to the Panamanian government. Boris Yeltsin is only a few weeks away from resigning and handing over the reigns of Russian presidency to Vladimir Putin. Some woman crossed the Atlantic in a rowboat alone.

What happens when signs of the Armageddon begin to rear their ugly heads again? Will the new book of prophecy come into play once more? Will another great cosmic game of chess start anew, or is it all really just another round of very complicated cosmic Solitaire?

Solemnly Sworn finds the Wizarding world in the summer of 1978 following a canon timeline with limited allowances for crack plot. Present day Aiode Falls, Maine is home to many residents from all over the globe. And Universe. The little college town is growing, and becoming home to more and more people all the time. Some of them have no idea how they came to arrive, and some can never go home. As the University gets darker with new arrivals harboring less than happy intentions, so does the city. It is now home to metahumans, vampires, humans, demons, ghosts, aliens and even celestial beings. All of them with defined morals (or none, for that matter) and each with an allegiance. Those without a chosen allegiance are considered fair game, as both sides subconsciously prepare.


There is a constant battle for good and evil in this town, and only one side can prevail.
