MAGIC SCHOOL
a Charmed/Harry Potter cross-over

What if Salem Witches' Institute is the very same Magic School the Halliwells protect? Perhaps centuries ago the Ministry of Magic orchestrated a separation of Church and State that excluded the Elders and WhiteLighters from interfering with European witchcraft. But their reach didn't extend to the colonies where magic was stifled and only encouraged by WhiteLighters. Now it's nearly 25 years after the battles against Voldemort and the Ultimate Power. Both Hogwarts and Salem Institute are open again. But when the peace of both sides is threatened, Potters and Halliwells will have to unite wizards and witches everywhere under a common cause.

MULTIFANDOM GAME SEEKING SAM WINCHESTER!

What to know: The game is a multifandom game on Insanejournal, mostly Supernatural-Batman based. We had a Sam, but recently lost him and need to replace him. The game takes place in Eureka Springs, Arkansas modern day, at the famous haunted hotel: Crescent Hotel (which has been featured on Ghost Hunters).

Plot lines:
-Sam/Madison - Sam and Madison are together and expecting their first baby together in December.
-There's a female werewolf stalking Madison, broke into the hotel room, but the reasons remain unknown.

-Sam-Dean - The brothers need to go on hunts. The hotel they're staying at is haunted (Dean's room has been noted haunted thus far).

What we are looking for: An active rper, who knows and understands the character. You must be over the age of 18.

PREMISE

You wake up to the smell of smoke.


When the bombs dropped in early 2008, it was expected that the virus would be eradicated. After all, nothing could survive the devastation of nuclear power. Nothing could possibly crawl up from the wreckage of a twisted land. That was how the United Nations justified their choice to Quarantine and abandon the United States of America – Canada and Mexico closed their borders, and the bomb was dropped. The virus burned hard under the nuclear autumn that followed, but it did not die. Nothing could stop the creatures that came out of the wasted hole of the Midwest – the Infected lived to hunt. Nothing could stop them. Or so it seemed to the rest of the world.

You wake up to lull of voices.


Seemingly abandoned by the rest of the world, the few who had sustained the blast began to band together. They found a common goal: Survive. Live, but not at any cost. To carry on with humanity intact, that was the only possible hope for the future of the Remaining States of America. Brought together under a vivacious leader, people crossed the country at great peril to come to New York, to live in the Salisbury Hotel. Safety was found in numbers, after all. And for a time, they lived in peace. Those who knew to fight, trained others. Those who could gather and hunt, they shared their skills. Gardens grew. The Infection was kept at bay. Hope for a cure began to whisper its way through the Compound. Caravans appeared on their last legs, praying for safe haven. But the seemingly idyllic landscape was bound to erupt again.

Here is what happens: maybe you're sitting down to dinner at a fancy restaurant. Maybe you're just waking up on a dreary Monday morning. Maybe you're rocking your child to sleep. Then, all of a sudden, there is a flash of light, a roaring noise, and then... Nothing. You wake up in a lavish, unfamiliar bedroom; there is a knock on the door and in comes a house elf, huge eyes and batlike ears and all, with a tray of your favorite breakfast foods. The sun is shining down on a beautiful morning in a place you've never seen before. What happened to you? Where did your life go? And how do you get it back?

The Manor is a panfandom RPG, dedicated to encouraging character development and relationships based around plot arcs designed by the moderators. Your character is taken out of their lives at any point, even after their deaths, and dropped into a place cobbled together from bits and pieces of buildings from across the various universes. You never know when you'll take a turn and enter the Parthenon, or the brig of a Starfleet vessel. You are housed with people of your own kind: if you are a heroic character, you are situated near the rooms of the other heroes. A villain? You're with your murderous pals in another wing of the Manor. But how can life in this frightening place compare to the one you had? How can you befriend these unkind strangers?

That's where They come in. The Ladies of the Manor, the Mistresses of the House, the Deadly Duo, the Raving Rulers. They are the White Witch Jadis, ruler of Narnia, and Lady Mary Van Tassel, summoner of the Headless Horseman. They stay in their tower, look down on the Manor, and make changes in your life. They might decide one day that you need some romance, and spike your drink and that of another person in the Manor so that you fall hopelessly in love for about a week. Maybe they want you to make a few enemies, so they make sure you get lost in the villains' wing. And maybe they decide that you've gotten too uppity, and need to spend a little time dead. But don't worry: no one's dead for long, here.

This is the Manor. Welcome home.

And Harry realized, with a shock so huge it seemed to root him to the spot, that Malfoy was crying - actually crying - tears streaming down his pale face into the grimy basin. Malfoy gasped, and Harry was confused as Malfoy looked down into his own empty hand as if he'd never seen it before then gulped and, with a great shudder, looked up into the cracked mirror and saw Harry staring at him over his shoulder.

Wished RP is an AU game that diverges from canon midway through Half-Blood Prince and aims to honor canon while allowing players to craft their own end to the story we all spent years following. Wished is a thread and scene based, Trio-Era game that begins with the Trio's seventh year. Voldemort is still lurking, if weakened, and a final showdown still threatens - but how we get there, and what happens afterward, will look very different.

Wished is only recently opened, and is an active and friendly community with chances for plot and character development for all characters.
