Delia had a knack for blaming herself for things that weren't her fault, and this was certainly no exception, despite how ridiculous it was for her to think she could've somehow resisted capture. She had no idea why she'd been put here and even less of an idea how to get away, but in the meantime she would quietly take far too much responsibility and remain silently jealous of Belle and Cooper. Sure, it was a traumatizing experience for both of them, but at the very least they had each other.
She nodded as Belle spoke of the commissioner and added, "He told me to have a nice day when I asked him what he was doing about our families. I would've argued, but I was too scared. I don't want to get anyone else in trouble because I complained too much. That's the last thing I want to happen." There was nothing like a threat to someone else's health to make Delia follow orders. Not that Delia would resist following orders very much to begin with. "What do you think he meant about the unfriendly animals? I haven't been to look at the forest, but I'm not sure how different things could be at night as opposed to the daytime." The thought of marauding animals were among the least of Delia's worries, but she was still curious as to how things could be so much more dangerous at night. Not that she was about to head to the forest to find out.
