"That's all right," Delia responded, smiling a little herself. Belle's smile and obvious warm nature were so disarming that the light southern accent she was so used to covering began to poke through in her speech. She hesitated for a moment before responding to Belle's question; the issue of her name had always been a bit of a problem for her. She'd been called many different things over the course of her short life, many of them derogatory and a few of them unrepeatable, so she'd learned quickly to just let people call her whatever they wanted. But every so often she had to choose, and that always put her at a loss.
"Grace," she said after a moment. Aunt Lily called her Grace. Maybe she would feel better if people here did, too. "It's nice to meet you too, Belle." Stepping a bit closer, she extended her hand. "You have a perfectly beautiful voice."
