Damn. It was enough to get him to move forward but not really enough to get him as far from the door as she would have liked. So she was going to have to try a different tactic.
It took a moment for her to make her voice work and to remember how to use words but when she did, she managed an excited, almost awestruck stage whisper, "C'mere... You've got to see this thing." It was deception at it's finest. Vague enough to hopefully get him curious but hopefully not so curious as for him to get a weapon of some kind if there were such a thing in this tiny grocery store.
But this also meant that she needed to carefully and quietly sneak over to another aisle to hide her position once more. Although the next plan was for a sneak attack and not full out escape. If he was going to make things difficult, so was she.
