There was someone in the room with him. Cathair was aware of this, even though his head was swimming and the room was blurry and far too bloody damn bright.
"Eden?" he managed to rasp out as he shook his head as if that would clear away the groggy feeling. Where it wasn't numb and tingly, his head throbbed.
The unfamiliar voice and touch in the vulnerable position wasn't a good thing. His combat nerves had had their limit after being body checked into the wall by a bloody great beast. They weren't having any more of that.
One hand snapped up to grab whomever was touching him and shove back. Cathair was all right until he tried to shove off and himself to his feet, That was when the room spun on axis and his stomach lurched dangerously. He collapsed back to the floor, doing his level best to keep from vomiting.
