Eden was indeed still there, locked up in her closet - well, not locked but she'd only come out briefly when she'd been hungry or when she needed to use the toilet. Then she had gone straight back into the closet which was pretty much the quietest room she could think of and even then it wasn't very quiet.
She hadn't even had a second to think about what had happened between her and Cathair though she would have had no regrets and would have done it again if she weren't going slowly insane. Or quickly. Whatever. She was crashing through the fragile glass that was her sanity and being stabbed by the shards all over.
Her gaze snapped in the darkness to the door as she heard her front door open. Footsteps wandered purposefully through her home and her heart started pounding. Her fingers wrapped around the handle of a knife that she'd kept with her. Each sound seemed to be magnified a hundred fold.
Finally, she heard a little squeak as someone settled on her bed. Cathair. She winced as every syllable hit her like a freight train though it wasn't nearly as bad as when it had started. "So... what happened then?" She didn't want to say more - her voice was the loudest.
