Honestly, she didn't think it really mattered if the locks were fastened but he probably knew that as well. Eden really didn't want to think of herself as a damsel in distress. If she did, she was going to start questioning her abilities in everything and questioning herself was not a good idea right now. She needed to be on the top of her game.
She arched an eyebrow at him, smiling a little bit. Really, he'd brought dinner? She hadn't guessed at all. Eden carried the plate and bottle into the kitchen and settled them on a counter top, uncovering the plate she'd picked. "Pie... Cute," she chuckled softly and shook her head a little. "Oh yeah? So a bloke can't visit without there being some ulterior motive, hm?"
Opening up the cabinets, she pulled down another plate so food could be separated between them. "Strange woman... I've never found food to be the answer to anything."
