Yeah, thanks Captain Obvious. "Considering they kidnapped more than a dozen people right outta their homes or off the streets and are holding us prisoner, I'd say 'dareful's an understatement." She shrugged. "The commissioner told me how many's here. But I ain't seen them all, nor do I suspect he was being honest."

Belle wanted to think that people wouldn't believe she and Cooper just up and disappeared, but really, it could be months before her family got suspicious about her not calling.

"Sounds like we best find you somethin' to eat first," she drawled wryly. "C'mon."
