Well she'd doubted he was going to take it on his own. Men were stubborn. She'd realized that long ago. If he was going to wander around a tropical damned island, he'd better be prepared. However, she said none of this and just gave him a sort of mildly annoyed, blank look.
She sighed heavily. Apparently he'd not really explored his quarters and had just left. Well wasn't that just lovely. "It's on the computer in your quarters. Basically it cheerfully welcomes us to the island, alerts us that everything about our captivity is on a need to know basis and if a person tries to escape, someone else will be punished hoping that our desire to protect other people will keep us in line." From her tone, this was not the case with Mina.
"Good luck figuring it out! We still haven't," a cheerful sarcasm now. Mina pushed a hand through her curly hair to get it out of her eyes as she started past Ben like that was just enough. And to herself, though she didn't change the volume of her voice, she added, "Go figure I'm the fucking welcome wagon..."
