Mina was amused by his declaration that apparently he had manners. Whatever. "So was I but it's not like you're anyone important." And if he was, she'd never seen him before even in articles.

"It was a wolf. People saw them. There's a professional tracker on the island. I'm going to trust her over your suspicions when you didn't see anything since you're brand new and still being broken in." Mina snapped at the end of that like that was that and she wasn't going to say anymore on the subject. Okay, so it was a little ghetto of her but it happened before she had a chance to think about it.
